Found this website and forum this morning.

I am moving to the area Friday, and would like to bike to work from Towson (York Road) to Hunt Valley (International Circle), if possible. A nice brisk 8 mile or so ride.

What would the safest route be to get there based on anyone's experience?

York Rd is not every ones cup of tea if you want to avoid I would do this: http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=707+Y ... 5&lci=bike

But overall a nice area to bike in. You should also look at the Competence & Confidence: A Bicycling Guide for Adults on the home page as it was filmed in this area to give you a fill for the kind of roads you might be on.
