During this winter hiatus, we are staying busy trying to better Velocipede in many ways but a crucial part that keeps us running are donations!
Every Wednesday we will be open from 7-8pm to accept donations! If you have any questions e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 410-244-5585 to ensure that we are in the shop.
Priced from $5 and up!
As-Is! (You need to carry the bike home. no you cannot leave it here for a future pick up date)
As you might have noticed from recent visits to our workspace we've been steadily running out of room for our projects. So, on August 1st, we will be having an As-Is sale of various bikes in various conditions. Come pick up a fixer-upper for cheap!
We will have up to 50 bicycles in various stages of repair to sell, and proceeds from this sale goes towards our operation costs. See you there!

Aaron Lee rides his bicycle between concerts. For each concert he partners with a group or organization that has a community focus. In this way, the tour promotes living simply and sustainably, acting locally and the power of community. Lee performs original ukulele songs that intentionally and creatively include the word ukulele somewhere in the lyrics. The performance will leave you with a smile on your face, a ukulele song in your head and a greater sense of community.

Hello everyone, we here at Velocipede hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and new year. We'd like to thank everyone in this great city who've donated their sweat and/or parts and much needed funds to help us give back to this community. Without you, we wouldn't have arrived this far. So thank you, and we hope that we can continue doing this for years to come.
With that in mind, we'd like to announce that in the month of January, we will be closed for a much needed overhaul, both of our physical workspace and of our operations. We will be cleaning, renovating, reorganizing, redesigning, and in general, hopefully implementing some new procedures and programs for the future.
What does this mean for you?
well.... while we are closed for regular operations, we will be at the shop, and will still accept donations and furthermore, we still would love to have your help and participation in this overhaul!
If you would like to help out with this month of overhauling (everything from heavy lifting/carpentry/electronics/handywork to graphic design and admin type stuff) we would LOVE to have you! Please drop an email to our collective member, Ben, at (email@example.com) with your information, including what special skillsets (ie: wood work, etc..) that you have.
We will be open for regular hours in February.
Thank you once again from Velocipede!

Our dear friend and collective member Gabby will soon be heading off on a bicycle tour, taking her south and then west across several states. Along the way, she will visit several bicycle co-ops with the goal of gathering new ideas and spreading love. Gabby needs our support to embark on this ambitious project. This Friday, Velocipede will be holding a fundraiser party. There will be music, dancing, and of course, beverages.
