Connect, celebrate and cultivate!  These are the principles that drive the success of Baltimore City’s beautiful community gardens.  Join the Community Greening Resource Network and the Baltimore City Master Gardeners (all proceeds will support these two organizations) as we visit some of these amazing spaces and meet the gardeners who make them work.  There are two ways to participate, with a final celebration for everyone at our ending destination.

Sunday Shop Ride (BBW)


image Join us for a Sunday morning ride August 8th at 8am. We will head North into Baltimore County for a 25 mile ride. The pace will be moderate and all skill levels are welcome to join in. We will meet at the shop at 7:45 and roll out at 8am.

The Charm City Scene: August 2 – August 8

Last, but not least, the Mark Cottman Gallery will be exhibiting “Bicycle: The Art of Cycling” including paintings and other media centered around the theme of cycling. It will be running until August 22nd from 11am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays. If you can’t swing by this week be sure to bike on down before the 22nd.

Flicks From The Hill: AVAM's Outdoor Movie Series


* When: Thursdays in July & August
* What Time: Museum Open 5-9pm, Screenings @ 9pm
* Cost: FREE!

Outdoor family films on Federal Hill screened under AVAM's Golden Hand! It's FREE and the flicks are related to the theme of the exhibition "Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness." Museum is OPEN and FREE from 5 - 9pm before the flick.

Sunday Bike Bmore Ride


Date: Every Sunday
Time: 9:00am - 11:30am
Location:Fells Grind, Fells Point, Thames St.

***Cost: Free.

***Ride Details:
***Difficulty: All biking levels, No city traffic experience necessary.
***Ride Length: 2 hours
***Location: Meet at Fells Grind, Fells Point, Thames St.
***Time: Ride leaves at 9:00AM sharp

***What to Bring: Bring your helmet, water and a bike. If you get there late, look at the map to catch up with us half way.

***Social: We eat lunch and relax at the Farmer's market at the end of the ride. Those that don't want to stay for this section can continue back to the starting location

Gwynns Falls Trail June 5th


Announcement:  Explore Baltimore's Trails on National Trails Day  
Activity:  "Bob Moore Memorial Trail Ride and Lunch", a guided ride down the Gwynns Falls Trail, from the I-70 Trailhead to the Inner Harbor, followed by lunch at Federal Hill Park overlooking the Harbor.  Independent return.  Dedicated to the memory of Bob Moore, bicycle and trail activist.
