RIDE OF THE LIVING DEAD

[A fun relaxed ride with post ride food and music... fun stuff!]
For the third time, Proteus will be celebrating ghosts, ghouls and candy with the RIDE OF THE LIVING DEAD halloween party! Sound good? Here's how you participate:

* get a cool costume (optional but encouraged)
* show up at proteus betwen 9:30-10 am on Saturday Oct 27.
* Go for a ride with us. This will be a relaxed, fun, no stress ride. All you mile hungry road vampires should plan to wake up early and feast upon the road before you show up. Cue sheets will be provided for people who wake up late from their mummy tombs or want to take an even slower zombie's pace. (Hey, sometimes you gotta stop to smell the spiders!)
* Bring a snack or beverage to share (also optional)
* Enjoy some company, conversation and snacks. At roughly 12 PM there will be music provided by Baltimore's Caleb Stine (read more about him below).

Like most people I live a hectic life and who has the time for much exercise? Thanks to xtracycle now I do. By using my bike for daily activities I can get things done and get an hour plus work out in 15 minutes extra of my time, not a bad deal and beats taking the extra time going to the gym. In case you are still having trouble being motivated; the National Center of Disease Control says that inactivity is the #2 killer in the United States just behind smoking. ( http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/bb_nutrition/ ) Get out there and start living life! I can carry home a full shopping cart of groceries, car pool two kids or just get lost in the great outdoors camping for a week. Well I got go, another outing this weekend.
