ContextSensitiveSolutions.org and the Federal Highway Administration are pleased to present a free webinar on June 11, 2009, from 2:00 - 3:30 PM EST. The webinar will discuss the role of Complete Streets in creating Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) that provide safe and efficient transportation options for all users.

The 1.5-hour webinar will provide an overview of the Federal Highway Administration's perspective on Complete Streets, including a discussion on the importance of pedestrian and bicycle issues, and what federal programs and policies are available to support communities in their Complete Streets efforts. Furthermore, the webinar will detail the design and implementation strategies of Complete Streets and how they relate to Context Sensitive Solutions initiatives. The presenters will also review the accelerating adoption of complete streets policies and laws across the country. There will also be an interactive Q+A session and an opportunity to download essential Complete Streets and CSS materials.

Like most people I live a hectic life and who has the time for much exercise? Thanks to xtracycle now I do. By using my bike for daily activities I can get things done and get an hour plus work out in 15 minutes extra of my time, not a bad deal and beats taking the extra time going to the gym. In case you are still having trouble being motivated; the National Center of Disease Control says that inactivity is the #2 killer in the United States just behind smoking. ( http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/bb_nutrition/ ) Get out there and start living life! I can carry home a full shopping cart of groceries, car pool two kids or just get lost in the great outdoors camping for a week. Well I got go, another outing this weekend.
