Like most people I live a hectic life and who has the time for much exercise? Thanks to xtracycle now I do. By using my bike for daily activities I can get things done and get an hour plus work out in 15 minutes extra of my time, not a bad deal and beats taking the extra time going to the gym. In case you are still having trouble being motivated; the National Center of Disease Control says that inactivity is the #2 killer in the United States just behind smoking. ( http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/bb_nutrition/ ) Get out there and start living life! I can carry home a full shopping cart of groceries, car pool two kids or just get lost in the great outdoors camping for a week. Well I got go, another outing this weekend.

Wow bike lanes! On Roland ave? I'll have to ride through there! I'm not sure the driver of this truck really has an alternative to blocking the bike lane. What could the driver have done differently and still managed to make his or her delivery? Should they have parked to the left of the bike lane, so as to only block the car lane? It's hard navigating one of those trucks in the city, especially when you have to keep to a strict timetable to make all of your deliveries. There is often just nowhere to park a truck like that, parallel parking is not an option. You need alot of room behind those trucks to operate the lift, or drag out the ramp.
Ah yes, the old "I'm doing important things so I am exempt from the law" trick. Or rephrased: My company would not be making a profit if we obeyed the rules, so please feel sorry for my company and let it continue making money by breaking laws." I've seen situations downtown where trucks would park on the sidewalk forcing people in wheelchairs out into the street with busy traffic, the question is to what extent should people be allowed to create hazardous situations for bike/peds just for some minor improvement in the flow of traffic all for a slightly better bottom line.
I agree with you Barry, It's illegal as well as rude, I was being the devils advocate in my previous post.
LOL Devil's advocate is cool, sometimes you can make a better point with sarcasm then through other means.
